Daily formation
From Grade 1, students pray Dhuhr together every school day, and older students mentor the younger ones. On Fridays, an older student gives the khutbah.
Huda Academy brings strong academics and Islamic character together, so children grow in confidence and purpose.
Children do not experience faith, learning, friendship, and character as separate parts of life. At Huda Academy, neither do we. Our classrooms are built around the belief that academic ambition and Islamic identity strengthen one another.
From a child’s earliest years into high school, our teachers know each student by name, and our community stands behind every family.
Knowledge becomes meaningful when it shapes who a child is becoming.
Belonging • Excellence • Grounding • Taqwa
The Huda Academy was established in the year 2000 by several members of the Muslim community in Little Rock. These members of the community were from different backgrounds and cultures, but they all shared a common view: the need to establish a school that would excel in academics and provide an environment to nurture spiritual growth. The founders hope was to form a school that would produce valuable members of society who maintain their Islamic identity.
Our founders set out a clear aim: Their objective was to create a learning environment where children are taught academically rigorous material while learning moral values that will enable them to think critically and become leaders and contributors to their community at all levels.
At Huda Academy, faith, academics and care work together in how students learn and grow.

From algebra and geometry in middle school to Pre-AP, AP and UALR concurrent courses in high school, our curriculum keeps each learner moving forward.
Parents, teachers and students share the work of helping each child feel at home here.
